the two swords came in a decent amount of time, however both have a slight bend in the synthetic blade. the guard has a bit of bite to it as well, which is no problem if using gloves, however if you are doing drills with no gear your index finger will feel the bite. Lots of fun, and very hearty, will last us for a long time.
This is our 3rd saber style we have purchased from socal swords and it is by far our favorite. The gaurd is nicely weighted to all drop assistance from a high or hanging gaurd. It also has a good amount of thumb protection that we didn't have in the other styles. Its also ambidextrous which is fantastic for team or club use. This saber is fantastic
Awesome quality, they feel alive in the hand. One big issue I've found is the 1803 slotted guard will bite your thumb on the top. I had to take a Dremel bit to the guard trying to soften up the edges.
Received my saber in great condition and I couldn't be happier with it. I really enjoy the more decorative hilt as opposed to some of the more plain ones available.
