Synthetic 1459 Messer

We've been using this particular messer for doing Liechtenaur Messerfechten (With a bit of an Arnis flare) for 2 years now and they have held up very well for full contact sparring. The flex is great for those who favor a more thrust based fighting style as it does not easily injure your partner or your wrists in particularly rough exchanges, and the trainer feels nimble enough for some excellent cuts and point work. Binding with it and working close quarters combat techniques also feels very natural and against other synthetic messers by other brands it has a heavier and powerful presence in the bind because of its width and weight.

The only cons I can think of is that it sells out quickly, doesn't come in black, and I wish the crossguard had a true nagel instead of a side ring ;)
