HF Armory Black Knight Mitten Gloves

Awesome!

I got these after struggling for months with loaner gear that was too big for my hands. Following the size chart, I would be technically on the lower end for mediums, but I took a shot at the small size since all the medium gloves at my club would literally fly off my hands while sparring.

Like any glove, at first they are a bit rigid and tight, but after a couple weeks I feel like I can move my hands surprisingly easily to change grips on the sword. The protection is amazing, to the point I might not even feel a hit straight to my hands if sparring with syntethics. When closed holding a long sword my hands are fully covered by the hard shell, its highly unlikely that im gonna get hit on my palms if an unlucky thrust happens.
It’s still early to talk about durability, but they are very well made.

If I were to list any cons, if I can even call it that, is that the outer shell increases your hand profile quite a lot, so you might get hit there more often, specially if fighting with smaller swords, but the added protection more than makes up for it.

She had her first class with these after using the rental ones for over a year and was amazed at the difference they made. She loves the grippy material on the inside as the sword doesn't slip as much as before giving her better control. She's 16, has petite hands and is using the xs gloves.
