"Gabriel" 2.0.3 5-Fingered HEMA Glove

$330

These are the first set of 5-fingered gloves that we have been comfortable using in our school, offering superior protection and dexterity right out of the box compared to similar models. You will be able to use new gripping methods that weren't possible with your old mitten gloves and enter grapples with ease.

Even so, know that being hit on a single finger can be very painful. Currently, no 5-fingered gloves offer the protection that a good mitten glove can provide. The 2.0.3 versions have had improvements made to protect against thrusts getting between the fingers, and have additional padding on the sides of the index and pinky fingers.

Every set of gloves comes in a carrying bag and with some replacement parts. More parts are available on request.

For sizing, measure around the palm and the length of the finger, then refer to the sizing listed below:

Finger gloves for smallsword

Arrived faster and with much, much better packing than the other big American store.
I love these for saber and SoCal included a repair kit, but I would buy two sizes up and wear 800N gloves underneath if you want to use them for Longsword. Don't risk your hands!

Wish you could tighten the wrist guard a bit more

Good overall but still a little stiff in the fingers. Im sure they will break in nicely.

5 stars for Socal Swords customer service!

Phenomenal

The best gloves for HEMA imo. Quick delivery, and included some awesome stickers for the collection.

First off, astonishingly comfortable to hold a weapon with these. I haven't tried a bunch of gloves yet but I can confidently say these have impressed me quite well. We have a few high intensity fencers at my club and I haven't had a single hand shot "hurt" yet. Sure the occasionally knuckle hit is uncomfortable whereas with a clamshell you wouldn't feel anything. I personally feel this gives you a higher sense of presence when sparring. You naturally defend your hands more. I have some concerns with long term reliability, although nothing is damaged yet. Additionally all the potential failure points seem fairly easy to repair. Overall I am very pleased with them.
