The "new hotness" in the HEMA scene right now. Everyone is talking about them for good reason. These offer great mobility and protection with an extremely durable design. These are a fantastic upgrade to your old clamshell/mitten gauntlets, and will last you for years to come. Keep in mind that they do break in, allowing for more dexterity the more you train with them.

Here is the sizing chart from HF. Note that they do not actually produce a Medium and Large separately, they produce a M/L, despite what the chart shows.

Hand with tape measure wrapped around the palm as well as chart of sizes.

I usually can't find gloves in my size, let alone armor, so I was thrilled to find that the Black Knight gloves come in extra small! They fit well, feel sturdy, and have held up well in class so far. I definitely recommend them for folks with small hands.

Good quality gloves, comfortable and still maneuverable despite the unavoidable normal movement limitations that come with using these kinds of heavy gloves. I prefer these and three fingered styles over five fingered ones for safety, worth the protection specifically for longsword. Checkout was neat, shipping was timely, and I got stickers!

HF Armory Clamshell Gloves

Good quality and great protection and coverage. They are also very light compared to SPES heavy gloves. The only minor criticism is that the wrist protection is a cuff that is a single piece of plastic. I'm noticing some limited movement with my left wrist due to this, but it would be very easy to trim the cuff a little bit. The thumb protection is very good without being bulky or overbuilt. Overall, I'm very happy with the gloves, and I'm always impressed with SoCal Swords great customer service.
